What are Remanufactured Cartridges?

In essence, these are refilled empty genuine cartridges that have been collected and recycled. Obviously this is an expensive process, much more so than just making a new compatible. The reason cartridges are remanufactured are because they are “printhead-on-cartridge” and it is too difficult for a 3rd party manufacture to reproduce the printhead. Cartridges used in “printhead-in-printer” machines are rarely remanufactured at all, it’s cheaper to make new ones – and the end product is more reliable.

To avoid extra confusion when browsing our website, we refer to all non-genuine (both compatible & remanufactured cartridges) simply as "Compatible”
